Ph.D. Student at CAI4CAI (King's College London) supervised by Tom Vercauteren and Jonathan Shapey. My thesis is on applied machine learning for neuro-oncology. Automatically segmenting brain tumors was truly mesmerizing as an undergrad. So I am continuing to do so now as well. I am fully funded by the Medical Research Council.
My general interest is in medical image computing and domain adaptation while figuring out how to do so securely, efficiently, and transparently. Good labels are tough to come by. Even tougher when it involves the human brain. So, I also like self-supervised learning. For my M.Sc., I was at DERI (Queen Mary University of London) advised by Greg Slabaugh and Vineet Batta. I secured funding for my thesis work on Automaed Orthopaedic Implant Identification through the UKRI Fast Start: Innovation Grant.
I have been fortunate to have had a few fantastic summers interning with great labs. Through the Oxford-Big Data Summer Internship Programme, I worked with Bartek Papiez at the University of Oxford. I worked with Patrick de Perio and Akira Konaka at TRIUMF via the MITACS scholarship. The Summer Research Intern Programme (SRIP) at IIT-Gandhinagar led me back to India for a short while to work with Tarun Gangwar. For my undergrad, I was at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, advised by Dhanalakshmi Samiappan. I majored in Computer Science and specialized in Cloud Computing.

Everyone at CAI4CAI has been the most amazing. Especially (in no particular order)
Aaron Kujawa,
Theo Barfoot,
Marina Ivory, and
Navodini Wijethilake.
Thanks to (in no particular order)
Pooja Ganesh (UIUC),
Rakshit Naidu (GaTech/CMU),
Aarsh Chaube (UCL), and
Mona Furukawa (Oxford) for supporting my research journey.
In my previous life, I represented my country, state (national silver medal) and (captained) school in futsal. I also debated at a National level. I massively enjoy tech, anime and figuring out rhyming schemes in lyrically dense rap. My Favourite bars: "Catch a throatful from the fire vocal, With ash and molten glass like Eyjafjallajökull, The volcano out of Iceland".
